"SIA Approved Contractor"

It was a requirement of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 that the SIA should establish a “system of inspection for providers of security services, under which those organisations who satisfactorily meet the agreed standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as much”. This initiated the release of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) to improve and develop the level of performance within each sector of the private security industry.

The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards.

Our company currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding and Door Supervision.
 
 

ISO 9001:2008

The British Standards Institute (BSI) describes ISO 9001:2008 as being “by far the most established quality framework, currently being used by over ¾ million organisations in 161 countries, and sets the standard not only for quality management systems, but management systems in general” (www.bsi-global.com). This is a quality management system standard that has been designed to help organisations to improve all aspects of the management of their operations and staff. Our company is currently ISO 9001:2008 certified.

SAFE Contractor

SAFE Contractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the Health & Safety competency of contractors and service providers. This scheme offers Health & Safety assurance for you and your contractors by ensuring that companies who are providing services on your sites are taking Health & Safety seriously. Many large organisations now use SAFE Contractor to develop and maintain their approved contractor and service provider lists (www.safecontractor.com). Our company is currently SAFE Contractor approved.

British Safety Council

The British Safety Council is one of the world's leading occupational health, safety and environmental organisations with a mission to support a healthier, safer and more sustainable society. It has its own awarding body, which is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and also operates in over 50 countries worldwide (www.britishsafetycouncil.co.uk). Our company is currently a member of the British Safety Council.

Edexcel

Edexcel is the leading provider of internationally recognised qualifications (www.edexcel.org.uk). Our company is a registered Edexcel Training Provider and is currently approved to offer BTEC and NVQ qualifications.
